In this post, I'll be reviewing the Dyson DC59 cordless vacuum cleaner. I asked for this as my birthday present from my Dad and it's the best vacuum I've used!!
Having read online reviews and knowing Dyson is a good brand, I knew this is something I needed in my house....especially having dogs staying, I needed something reliable!
Once delivery had been made, the Dyson was really easy to put together. Within 5 minutes of opening the box, a test drive was in order. It was surprising how much crap it managed to pick up within 2 minutes! I had only had two dogs in the house stay at this point, but guess there is also the people trafficking through the house to consider as well. Don't get me wrong, I had a vacuum cleaner before the Dyson arrived, but wow.....this def made me realise how much of a difference between them was!
Another thing that drew me to this Dyson model, was the fact that is was handheld and cordless.....allowing you maneuver it easily and not being tethered by a lead!
You have to be careful in the sense of not overfilling the collection container and emptying it when it reaches the Max line. The vacuum will stop if it gets too full or if it needs to have a clean out.
I have already have to take the Dyson apart, due to dust getting into it. I had already cleaned out the filter (which is usually the first thing that is suggested to do) and it still didn't work. So, managed to bring up a YouTube video how to disassemble the vacuum and clean it properly. Hey presto....it was simple and the Dyson was back up and running again!
I would rate this product with 5 stars, as I cannot fault this product at all and would def recommend it to anyone (regardless if you have pets or not!). A whole charge will last me to do throughout my house....but a word of warning, I have a bungalow, so not a massive space to do! If you have a bigger property, the charge will prob not be able to hold out to do the whole place.
