Thought I would share some of the local walks I've found and enjoyed so far!
The first one is the fields in North Bradley. These fields are accessed by walking down my road, through a little path and coming out at the bottom of The Rank (the road that runs parallel to mine). From there, you take the bridle path and follow that through to the fields. So I usually go on the route highlighted in blue, but I've also used the bridle path (highlighted in red) to mix things up!
The second walk I love to do, is at Clanger Woods. This site is part of The Woodland Trust. It's found in between Yarnbrook and Westbury.
Some parts of the wood can get slightly muddy and boggy, so be careful!
There is also a small car park, but can be busy at times.
This walk up at Westbury White Horse provides great views! It can get windy up there, so make sure you take a jumper with you! If you're ever in the mood for flying a kite, this is the place to be! Paraglyders etc also use this high advangtage point
There is also a car park located here.
Another great walk is Southwick Country Park. Dogs can run free and you don't have to worry about roads. There is also a pond here, if your dog needs a cool down in the hotter weather!
There is a car park here too.
